That’s because only Atia’s Flame can release the spirits trapped within. The table above shows how much it costs to evolve a single part: an axie’s first part evolution will cost 100 materials, while its sixth (and final) part evolution will cost 1013 materials. Make sure you have the right kind of materials: Beast parts require Beast Mementos, while Plant parts require Plant Mementos. That means a Level 1 Beast part requires 100 Beast Mementos to evolve – using 50 Beast Mementos and 50 Plant Mementos will not work.

For example, an axie’s first part evolution will cost $2 USD in AXS, the second will cost $4 USD in AXS, and the third will cost $8 USD in AXS. We’ve pegged the fee to USD to prevent fluctuating AXS prices from becoming a barrier to evolution. 100% of each part evolution fee will go to the Axie Treasury. This holds true for regular, collectible, and Mystic axies. However, players can pay a 200% fee in materials for an instant evolution. Instant evolution might be an attractive option for players who want to evolve in the middle of an Origins Era or Season.
